Warehouse Worker - Product Picker / Packer

Cobian Corporation is a family-owned business that strives to design and manufacture the most appealing and comfortable footwear product line for the most demanding customer. We are looking for new employees who become integral part of our company family to evolve the Cobian brand to higher levels.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8AM-4:30PM.

Picker / Packer Job Responsibilities:

• Pulls and packs product based on daily orders.
• May include online order processing and product pulling.
• Guarantees that orders are correct and complete.
• Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
• Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate any noticeable quality issues.
• May operate various pieces of equipment (i.e. Bendi, Palletizer, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, Forklift, and Electrical Pallet Jacks).
• Reports any problems that affect filling customer orders, equipment, process, staff, daily output.
• Performs assigned tasks to support inventory control in conducting cycle counts and physical inventory.
• May assist in truck / container loading and unloading.
• Utilizes continuous improvement mind-set and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Work environment requires repetitive motion, as bending and reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. over prolonged periods of time.
• Must be a reliable team member who displays consistency, great attendance, team spirit, attitude to succeed.
• May be trained in different roles as a backup team member.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Picker/Packer Qualifications / Skills:

• Scanning and processing outgoing stock.
• Pulling, packing, and loading.
• Receiving, stocking, and stacking.
• Basic use of a computer.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 6 months retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Forklift Certification is a plus but not necessary.
