Responsibilities:
The successful candidate shall:
- Locate containers or folders on the shelving, using the location information listed on the pull list or Disposal Concurrence Report (DCR) provided. Some shelving is up to 15 feet high.
- Remove containers from shelving, check for missing and/or charged out c containers, and empty locations immediately.
- Place containers or folders on streamliners in order, facing the same direction and with transfer numbers visible.
- Initial report and hand over documentation.
- Move records to Designated Disposal Review Area.
- Move non-disposable records, such as those being relocated, to an approved staging area for review.
- Palletize Containers for Disposable Records.
- Secure pallet by wrapping it with shrink wrap.
- Shelve non-disposable records that are being relocated.
- Retrieve batched requests containing 50 or more USCIS reference requests. Sign-out batches in the appropriate logbook, recording name, date, and time the batch was taken for processing.
- Locate requested folders and indicate container on the shelving using the location information on the reference request. Some shelving is up to 170 inches high.
- Audit folders and unserviceable references requests upon batch completion. Sign in completed batches in the appropriate logbook, recording time of completion.
- Pull requested documents out of boxes stored on shelving as tall as 15 foot high from either the floor or utilizing a pulpit ladder. Place all completed requests in a standard FRC box, marking the front of the box with the beginning and ending DLM range in that box.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Ability to perform in a labor-intensive environment
- Strong attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to regularly lift boxes up to 30 to 50 lbs.
