As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions is expanding their staff and seeking a Warehouse Worker / Delivery to join our FSG - XXXX team.
Job Description
As a Warehouse Worker / Delivery you will operate an assigned delivery vehicle over established route to deliver and sell products or render services, collect money from customers, and other delivery/warehouse duties as assigned.
A Warehouse Worker / Delivery r will:
- Transport product by either a van, box truck, or other vehicle type.
- Deliver lighting supplies to various commercial accounts in timely manner.
- Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
- Duties may also include assortment and preparing of customer orders.
- Shipping and receiving of materials.
- Unloading and loading of trucks.
- Relocating materials within the warehouse and stocking shelves.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Experience in the lighting industry or equivalent industry a plus
- MUST possess a valid driver’s license
- MUST have a clean driving record
- Must be able to report to work on time and prepared
- Warehouse environment - changing temperatures, noise levels, repetitive bending, standing, lifting.
- Candidate must pass a drug and background screening test
- Candidate must possess the ability to consistently lift and move heavy objects up to 50 LBS in weight
