We are looking for someone that can:
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and conclude Total Loss claims. .
- Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, statutes and insurance regulations when conducting investigations and determining coverage.
- Complete all aspects from Total Loss determination through settlement of assigned Total Loss claims.
- Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to explain the overall Total Loss claims process.
- Confirm all options, conditioning, equipment is accurate by reviewing the Total Loss valuation with the customer. Ensuring proper documentation of items.
- Monitor and adjust reserves appropriately.
Requirements for success:
- Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. College degree or vocational training preferred. Knowledge of CCC Valuation Methodology a preferred, but not required.
- Previous customer service or insurance experience required.
- Ability to make decisions, stay within authority levels and resolve conflicts.
- Establishes, develops, and maintains professional working relationship with internal and external customers.
- Knowledge of or willingness to acquire knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, statutes and insurance regulations.
- Ability to set own priorities
- Excellent verbal, written and active listening communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
