Temp to hire position

Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Pay: $19.00 to $21.00 based on experience

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, the employee will perform a wide range of tasks. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Position Responsibilities

• Material handling (using overhead crane, hoists, forklift, pallet jack and electric pallet jack)

• Operating power washer to clean plates and equipment

• Safely use small tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.

• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

• Keep work areas clean by sweeping or mopping where needed.

• Using chemical dip tanks to clean plates

• Doing visual quality inspections of customer’s plates

• Applying rubber gaskets to customer’s plates

• Accurately counting and recording parts and equipment • Preparing plate packs for shipping • Actively participate in continuous safety and production improvement efforts. • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

• Basic addition and subtraction/Reading and writing skills.

• Ability to follow directions and focus on completing tasks.

• Must be willing to work on a wide range of tasks.

• Wear all appropriate PPE.

• Ability to follow safety rules and the 5s principles of a work environment.

• Ability to do repetitive work including walking and lifting for extended periods of time.

• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
• Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
• using chemicals: 1 year (Preferred)
