Highwood USA (Located in Tamaqua and Hazleton, PA) is a part of Premier Outdoor Living, an entrepreneurial manufacturer that produces products for the outdoor living space. POL consists of 3 unique business, Spa cabinets, HDPE Lumber, and Outdoor Furniture. We operate 3 facilities, 2 in Pennsylvania and 1 in Wisconsin that support the three business.

Position Summary:
Successful Warehouse Technicians enjoy the challenges of working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment while safely completing the processes associated with shipping, receiving and warehousing products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Ensures daily checklist for vehicle/equipment is filled out and any issues are communicated to the appropriate people.
Safely operate multiple types of lift trucks and pallet jacks
Ensures inventory accuracy during transfers of materials and products including correct dispositions.
Follows up and investigates root causes of inventory transfer discrepancies in a timely manner.
Transfer finished products from production or staging areas into our customer/item-based storage racking system.
Making inventory moves/adjustments in IQMS.
Ability to learn and successfully use an RF scan gun.
Manage and organize floor space constraints vs. inventory levels.
Consolidate and organize staging areas in production area.
Ensure shipping requirements meet customer specifications, including stacking heights, pallet requirements, and banding.
Continuously clean and organize dock and aisle areas.
Assists in raw material and finished good inventory cycle counts.
Assists with necessary receiving tasks.
Stage orders/loading trucks - fulfill out bound orders.
Ensure order numbers match with bill before completing loading process.
Ability to read and understand pick slip/ticket.
Successfully complete late pickups independently
Safely drive/operate the company box truck/van between Highwood locations and vendors.
Accurate completion of Bill of Ladings and printing BOL’s from IQMS
Track/order shipping supplies and packaging items
Calculate requires truck space and cube out volume shipments.
Populate production reports in order to accurately label furniture items in IQMS.
Obtain freight quotes.
Perform monthly physical inventory of raw materials and finished goods and cycle counts.
Response to shipping door and govern visitors in the shipping area.
Double checking information of pallets in the finished goods staging area and move them into proper inventory location.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior Forklift Experience a plus.
