As an Automation Technician you will maintain the facility's Automated Storage & Retrieval System by, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and completing preventive maintenance. You will be responsible for maintaining system operations by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying system components, troubleshooting all non-functioning electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic subsystems and components, ensuring they return to full serviceability.

You Will Contribute By:
- Maintain all systems and subsystems of the Automated Storage & Retrieval System. Ensure rapid equipment return to serviceability by performing a thorough in-depth troubleshooting on any non-functioning or faulted system, subsystem or component.
- Keep Management informed of specific problems and suggested actions, including approximate time required for repairs.
- Will diagnose and replace as required electronic sensors including reprogramming and alignment.
- Assist and train other automation team technicians in troubleshooting and repairs of any equipment as required, consistent with level of experience and training.
Skills
- Working knowledge of 480, 277, and 120 volt electrical systems. (single and three phase).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics, mechanical diagrams and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Advanced working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and network diagnostics
- Experience welding with stick or MIG a plus
- Site inspections, equipment inspections, mechanical repairs, and replacements, all which require good mobility, physical exertion, walking, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, carrying tools and parts, etc.
- Experience with MS Office programs: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Years Of Experience
- 2-5: Hold an Associate's Degree for Electrical/Mechanical studies or 5+ years equivalent experience in an electro/mechanical field
- 2-5: Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics, mechanical diagrams, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns for troubleshooting and repairs, while understanding complex automated system drawings and component specification sheets.
- 2-5: Possess sufficient Electrical/Mechanical aptitude to replace electrical/ mechanical components and perform preventive maintenance.
