1. Description
The Warehouse Technician I, with direction from Warehouse Supervisor or relevant Lead, is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, and fulfilling purchase orders physically and also using the GSS ERP system to complete transactions. Assists in a variety of tasks to maintain a clean and orderly warehouse. Works independently or as part of a team to carry out multiple tasks or projects. Productive worker with solid work ethic in successfully completing tasks by being dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success.
Duties and Responsibilities - Essential Job Functions
. Carry out tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
· Load and unload merchandise for shipping and receiving.
. Check in and accurately record merchandise and affix labels.
· Stack merchandise on racks and record location
· Fulfill customer orders.
· Move materials off racks and package for shipment.
. Become proficient in ERP System as it applicable to warehouse operations
. Utilize any/all electronic equipment associated with ERP system and accountability of products.
. Be attentive to detail on processes, procedures and associated data entry and paperwork etc.
. Cross train in other skills necessary for warehouse operations
· Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items, as requested.
· Follow all safety codes.
· Place merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution.
· Perform facilities cleanup.
· Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
· Maintain a clean and organized process flow
· General understanding of all part numbers processed through production area
· Informed understanding of SOPs that impact general employee and quality activities
· Establish a working relationship with department Supervisor –
· Maintain and enforce all applicable standard operating procedures and policies
· Informed understanding of GSS System with regard to logging into shifts and work orders.
Qualifications - Minimal Qualifications include:
· 2 Years experience in receiving and inventory control
· FedEx, UPS and International Shipping Software
· Basic computer knowledge
· Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
· Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
