Northern Gulf is a renewable fuel logistics and distribution company, focused on aggregating, separating and selling used-cooking oil (“UCO”) along the Gulf coast. The company seeks to make a positive impact on the local community and environment. Our business places collection bins at customer locations to collect UCO and grease from cooking and food production operations. Representative customers include: restaurants, stadiums, institutions and food manufacturing facilities.

Job Summary:

· Performs various maintenance duties and handles service requests requiring technical labor skills.

• Performs routine maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them.
• Maintains or repairs specialized equipment or machinery.
• Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
• Performs general cleaning duties of buildings or properties, equipment, collections bins and location fleet
• Records type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
• Verifies merchandise shipments received against purchase orders, packing slips and/or waybills.
• Checks order for completeness and possible damage.
• Logs shipments, completes and forwards paperwork in a timely manner, as assigned.
• Files paperwork, as assigned.
• Processes orders for delivery.
• Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Receives and counts stock items, and records data manually or using computer.
• Marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Will be required to use hand truck, forklift, hoist, motorized conveyor or other material handling equipment.
• Use company truck to complete oil collection for designated customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
