Job Title: Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary
The Warehouse Specialist assists with preparing Giant products and attachments for customers, and is responsible for general maintenance of the warehouse.
Essential Functions

1. Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI’s) on all Giant products and attachments.
2. Complete any small repairs that are needed as a result of the PDI (scratches, dents, etc.).
3. Loading/unloading containers and trucks.
4. Operate forklift
5. Install enhancements and machine customizations such as tires, options, and accessories.
6. Keep warehouse clean and in good working order, including any small maintenance needs such as changing lights, filters, etc.
7. Perform final assembly tasks (mount tires, counter weights, ROPS).
8. Assist with any spare parts support needs as assigned.
9. Assist with any technical support needs as assigned.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- One or two years of related experience working in similar industry preferred; additional education may be substituted for years of work experience.
Knowledge Requirements
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
- Ability to conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- General understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse.
Other Information
- Supervisory Responsibilities: The Warehouse Specialist has no direct reports.
- Work Environment: This position operates in a warehouse environment. The warehouse can be dusty, dry, or humid, with temperature ranging between 40 – 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Position Type/Hours of Work: *This is a full-time position, and typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Responsibilities occasionally may require irregular hours as deemed necessary. This may include an adjusted work schedule, long days, and early morning or late evening hours. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must work a minimum of 40.0 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
