PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Keeps the warehouse organized, clean, and prepared for deliveries. Manufactures Diesel Exhaust Fluid (Training provided). Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Lubricant Sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:
Goal is to Manufacture 1,000 gallons of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) each workday.
Retrieves products for customer deliveries.
Consolidates pallets by stacking cases and moving drums.
Consolidates totes by product transfers.
Interacts with customers, contractors, suppliers, agencies, and other employees.
Conducts inventories.
Prepares recycling loads.
Loads containers.
Assists delivery personnel with truck loads.
Occasionally rides with delivery staff if assistance is needed at a customer location
Communicates issues concerning scheduling, inventory control, safety and other operations.
Receives containers of products from supplier, unloads container, verifies invoice accuracy and moves product to designated warehouse location.
Assists with the installation of equipment.
Maintains all work areas in a clean, safe and organized fashion.
Performs other duties as required.
Must be able to use forklift and be certified.
Perform key duty of sampling DEF and arranging for testing of the same.
Performs light administrative work.
Daily Duties
DEF production
Completes documentation for inventory control.
Supports staff with customer assistance.
Maintains all equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and organized fashion.
Inspects equipment daily and ensures that all machinery is clean and in proper working order.

Periodic Duties:
Attend meetings as required
Prepare warehouse for product delivery from suppliers.
Assist in inventory of products in warehouse.
Occasional Duties:
Attend training classes.
Participate in Forklift training courses.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in warehouse and office environments.
Loads and unloads delivery trucks.
Operates forklift and pumps, carries hoses, uses hand truck, and lifts containers.
Equipment Use:
Frequent use of pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, pumping equipment, ladders, and safety equipment.
Occasional use of standard office equipment.
Is willing and capable to accept proper training to become forklift certified.
Basic computer skills required. (Should be familiar with Microsoft Office.)
Works Hours:
Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Flexibility to work extended hours as necessary.
MENTAL DEMANDS:
Requires attention to detail, concentration and alertness for accuracy, driving and oil spill prevention.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequent standing, loading and unloading oil products.
Continuous eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision, depth perception and wide field of vision required for operating a vehicle and forklift.
Visiting and working at sites other than the office and warehouse to conduct business.
Frequent walking, reaching and handling of equipment.
Frequent carrying cases of quarts of oil.
Occasional sitting and use of computer keyboard.
Ability to lift 60 lbs.
Frequent use of forklift and electric pallet jack.
COMMUNICATION DEMANDS:
Effectively communicates in a professional manner using both oral and written skills.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Skills/Knowledge:
Proficient in email and cell phone communication.
Proper use of oral and written Standard English grammar.
Proficient with basic computer skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and other employees.
Possesses good driving and materials handling skills.
Demonstrates good math skills.
Possesses logical reasoning abilities.

Able to understand instructions and to work independently with minimal supervision for prolonged periods of time.
Education/Training:
High School Diploma.
Valid Driver's License.
Experience:
Forklift experience preferred
Warehouse experience preferred
