Compensation $20.00/hour
*This range reflects Carestream's good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.
Position Summary:
Location: Warehouse/Inventory Specialist is needed at 1049 Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14615
As a specialist for warehouse logistics, you plan, control, and organize goods flows. You make sure that goods movements and handling run smoothly in all material storage areas.
• Perform daily inventory management duties consisting of (not limited to): cycle counting, maintain SAP records, replenish parts markets, pull transfer ticket request, pick up of Finished goods from Manufacturing.
• Pick and pack product inventory with optimum accuracy using warehouse management system.
• Train to follow OSHA safety guidelines and practices, use a forklift, and other equipment.
• Wrap pallets for stability, load product properly to minimize damage.
• Learned effective picking methodologies, proper pallet construction and operation of automate wrapping machine.
• Perform stock rotations per first in, first out (FIFO) guidelines.
• Stock warehouse shelves using FIFO rotation to ensure product quality.
• Work with purchasing team to ensure proper stock levels.
• Effectively and accurately preparing materials for shipment
Position Responsibilities:
• Assist is with dock activities.
• Pick production materials for manufacturing with a high attention to details and accuracy.
• Accurately document material movements in SAP, keeping accurate inventory.
• Check and double check all paperwork to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor/Maintain COGI errors.
• Unpack raw material to stage for manufacturing.
• Generates ideas and assists in the implementation of initiatives to improve quality and delivery, and maintains a high quality, clean and efficient work environment.
• Report any safety concerns, using Gensuite concern reporting program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Education:
- GED or High School diploma
- Basic Computer Skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm (occasional overtime as needed)
Desired Skills:
- Fork truck experience.
- Familiar with SAP
- Material handling and order picking
