Warehouse (Shipping & Receiving) - Ky

Perform an array of functions that may include, but not limited to, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and/or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

First Shift - Mon-Fri 9a-530p in person position

Pay Rate - $15-$17 DOE

Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.

Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies.

Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.

Open boxes, crates and other containers for receiving inspection.

Maintains inventory by recording amounts of materials or items received through a computer. (May also assist in counting of physical inventory)

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule. (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Prepare parcels for mailing. Maintains safe and clean work environment at all times by keeping shelves, pallet area, work stations and public restrooms neat and orderly. (sweep, clean dust, mop)

To accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list.

Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.

Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.

Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained on a regular basis.

Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.

Wear the proper safety equipment.
