Warehouse Shipping Clerk

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. This is a vital role in our warehouse operations, and we are looking for someone who can efficiently handle the logistics of our distribution center. Duties: - Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices - Inspect received items for damages or defects - Sort, label, and store received goods in designated areas - Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer orders - Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory levels and update records - Operate order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move goods within the warehouse - Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely shipment of products - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred - Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking processes - Proficient in using basic computer applications such as MS Office - Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely (valid certification preferred) - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Health insurance options - Retirement savings plan - Paid time off If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment, we encourage you to apply for the position of Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
