Position Summary
The Warehouse Reviewer & Labor performs day-to-day labor and verifying support for successful operations activities in the distribution center in Laredo, Texas to meet tight deadlines. Responsible to help fulfill the logistics of receiving, shipping, processing, and storing inventory in Laredo Warehouse. Generally in charge of overseeing stock, shipments, and packing orders. Verify all inbound an outbound orders. Foster a positive team-work culture and work environment with all employees while providing exceptional customer service. This position reports directly to Operations Team-Lead/Supervisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure the loading material matches with the invoice material in quantity, type of products, etc.
  • Handle warehouse labor and checker tasks in a fast-paced industrial distribution center to check, process, receive, examine, and storing of all incoming and outgoing products in the warehouse.
  • Take inventory of incoming products, sold goods, and stored goods, to ensure accuracy and proper accountability.
  • Checks, processses,and clears customers' orders for shipments.
  • Check and ensure the loading material matches, bill of ladings or with the invoice material in quantity, type of products, etc.
  • Sorts, arranges, and labels all goods and products in the warehouse.
  • Receives and examines all the incoming products and goods in the warehouse.
  • Assists with accurate and safely handle loading, unloading, and securing functions of all shipments that arrive to the distribution center in a timely manner. 
  • Assists with transfer of materials and products between unloading, processing, loading, designated storage or relocating maertials, and unpacking responsibilities within warehouse areas to maximize the warehouse workflow.
  • Keeps warehouse and its areas clean.
  • Notify Supervisor of any defects or state of goods or products and their conditions that can potentially affect the quality of the goods/products.
  • To maintain the quality of goods or products int he warehouse, the checker operates machines an othere tools in the warehous eto ensure goods and products are kept in the best possible conditions.
  • Ensure compliance in the service offer by the warehouse to internal and external customers.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct physical inventory counts, indentifying variances, participate in annual inventory and cycle-counting.
  • Shrink wrap products for delivery and accurately label products.
  • Keeps inventory and record of the movment of products or goods in and out of the warehouse.
  • Keep updated records of activity logs.
  • Perform quality checks and quality assurance including reporting product or merchadise damage and shortages or overages.  Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  • Participate in daily operations meetings and in safety meetings.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks in the warehouse and 5S standards for organizing, cleaning, and sustaining a productive work areas and to keep work areas free of debris.
  • Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.

  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
  • Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
  • Execute cycle counts.
  • Product re-work (packaging, painting, etc.)
  • Secure the loads and related activities, including Load capture.
  • Ensure that all products are properly labeled when they leave the warehouse.
  • Adhere to OSHA and safety standards.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Education and/or Experience
  • High School Disploma or GED equivalent highly preferred.
  • Knowledge in logistics, warehouse or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of progressive and hands-on experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in a fast-paced manufacturing, distribution center, logistics, or warehouse environment.
  • Expereince with shipping, receiving, and physical inventory.
  • Expereince in the basic operations of the warehouse like stacking, arrangement, sorting,, and cleaning of the warehouse, and operations of basic industrial equipment.
  • Knowledgeable in receipt, inspection, storage, and management of goods and products int he warehouse.
  • Good knowledge of inventory-control processes or procedures.
  • Prior experience as forklift operator and in handling various lifting equipment is highly preferred.
  • OSHA training and hazardous materials training is a plus.
  • Basic Mathematical aptitude is required.
  • Execllent team-work skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish language is required to handle loading/unloading documentation.  Must speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Able to read the details on products and goods in English & Spanish.
  • Comprehensice knowledge of safety guidelines.
  • Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documentation, and safety guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship building, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high- customer service and professionalism.
  • Results-oriented, ability to work as part of a functional team and work independently.
  • ability to work part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge in OSHA regulations and safety in a manufacturing, distribution center, logistics, or warehouse environment.
  • Skill in performing safety walk-throughs, safety meetings, safety inspections, and in ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.
  • Ability to exercise effective judgement, sensitivity, creativity to fast-paced, changing needs and situations.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Physical and mental demands of this role include those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, as outlined above. Examples include: assist with operating various types of lifting equipment and forklifts. Thinking and concentrating effectively, frequently communicating with people, frequently moving around the facility/warehouse and yard areas. Requires frequent physical effort of lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 60 pds., ability to handle the stress associated in meeting frequent, multiple and tight deadlines, ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week as workload and deadlines may require, ability to have regular, reliable attendance on-site.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial areas.
  • Excellent physial condtion to frequently move around the warehouse and yard facility.
  • Must be comfortable working in a labor-intensive environment, under extreme weather conditions inside warehouse and outside in yard-areas.
  • Work environment in the distribution center/logistics areas, and warehouse may involve some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions, safety training, and required PPE.
  • Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises in or around the facility’s premises.
