SalaryThe Warehouse Production Specialist will work closely with the Warehouse Production Lead. This position will primarily be responsible for breaking down equipment from factory packaging and preparing it for delivery to job sites, as well as help fill in all warehouse positions to maintain coverage as needed. We are looking for someone eager to learn and be part of a team, someone willing to help with all warehouse related tasks.
Education
- No specific education requirements, work ethic and intelligence are required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Break down and unpackage commercial kitchen equipment to a safe transportable point.
- Assist in loading commercial kitchen equipment into trucks and trailers in the warehouse.
- Drive tow motors in the warehouse, applicants must be able to pass a training class and safely use and maintain tow motors, experience is a benefit but not required.
- Jockey box trucks around the warehouse yard, and drive between our two Lancaster PA warehouses. Applicants must be able to pass and maintain a Department of Transportation box truck certification, experience is a benefit but not required.
- Be able to use hand held power tools, experience is a benefit but not required.
- Help build crating for safe transportation of equipment.
- Help fill in other warehouse positions when other staff is off.
- This position is ideal for a team player, someone willing to learn all the ins and outs of our warehouse operation. Someone willing to jump in and help with any task, even when not instructed.
Physical Demands
- Requires being able to drive a box truck, driving tow motors in the warehouse, being able to lift push and pull up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
Work Environment
- We have 2 warehouses totaling 100,000 Sqft, and we have a small team running our warehouse, applicants should want to work as a tight knit team.
Travel Requirements
- We have two different warehouses in Lancaster, and this position will work in both buildings as needed. The primary report to building will be near Mt Joy, on occasion report to location would be near Greenfield.
