Warehouse Operations Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders
• Organize and label products for easy identification and retrieval
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Assist in picking and packing orders for shipment
• Assist in inventory management, such as participating in inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy including conducting regular stock checks
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily operational goals
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed
• Adhere to and help enforce warehouse safety protocols and procedures, at all times
• Assist in overseeing daily Warehouse Operations, including receiving, storing, reporting and shipping orders
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records
• Help optimize warehouse layout for efficient product storage and retrieval
• Assist in the supervision of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Help coordinate the scheduling of shipments and deliveries to meet customer demands
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ensure compliance with State and OSHA safety protocols and standards
• Assist in implementing process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as directed by the management staff

Requirements :

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
• Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory efficiently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be bilingual or fluent in Spanish
• High School or College Degree, or have equal warehouse experience
• Able to use company applications (phone apps, etc.)
• Knowledge in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
