JOB SUMMARY
Support production by conveying conforming raw materials from storage to the point of production in a large fast-paced manufacturing environment.
shift is Thursday Midnight to 6 am, Friday – Sunday 6 pm to 6:30 am $18.00
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment in accordance with MPC/OSHA procedures and guidelines.
- Able to read work orders and follow instructions.
- Experience with hygroscopic material handling (i.e. drying, mixing, storage)
- Basic math, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
- Organize the work to meet the production schedule notifying the Materials Manager of any delays encountered in setup or operation relating to materials.
- Comply with established Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions within the work environment.
- Ensure that all raw material, work in process, quarantine, and mixes are properly packaged, identified, stored, and handled at all times.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular, repetitive basis.
- Prevent nonconforming materials or procedures from impacting material or finished good quality.
- Verify operation of peripheral equipment (i.e. hopper loaders, dryers, blenders etc.)
- Perform regular daily and weekly maintenance as assigned (i.e. filter, hoses, dryers, blenders etc.)
- Able to safely and efficiently handle materials.
- Able to perform a repetitive function with speed and accuracy.
- ·ble to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Safety conscious and great attention to detail.
- Punctual, reliable, and solid attendance record.
- Utilize manual lifts and transfer equipment (requires applicable safety and operational training)
- Store and stack materials according to company standards.
- Report inventory shortages and recommend new orders.
- Remove damaged materials from stock.
- Perform other tasks as required or assigned in support of the company’s needs, goals and objectives.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School diploma/GED or equivalent is required
- Experience: Entry level
