KPG is partnered with a leading manufacturer in Chino, CA seeking for a Warehouse Manager on Direct Hire Terms to join their team!
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience a management role within warehouse logistics, ERP/MRP experience, and fluent in Mandarin.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse function which includes building and implementing a warehouse/logistics management system and control procedures.
- Interview, select, and train warehouse and supervisory personnel.
- Plans, develops or implements warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
- Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to coordinate delivery time and locations
- Confer with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, such as productions, sales, records control, or purchasing.
- Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and issue work assignments.
- Implement system/procedure for inventory optimization, control of flow of materials in and out of the company, and process improvement.
- Represent warehouse department in planning, forecasting, and replenishment meeting with other departments and with external customers and suppliers.
- Facilitate communication between purchasing, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure a smooth, lean product pipeline is maintained.
Requirements:
- 5 years in warehouse logistics with 3 or more years in management capacity with a manufacturing company preferably in garment industry.
- Bachelor’s degree with major or emphasis in logistics, SCM, or shipping and warehousing.
- Previous experience with MRP, ERP, and preferably ISO.
- Familiar with WMS, distribution management, and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of international trade, shipping, and warehouse management.
- Ability to demonstrate effective leadership and provide direction to shipping, traffic control and warehouse departments and their staffs to ensure all products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentational, and organizational skills.
- Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of accounting software, including SX system, is highly preferable.
- Candidate must be able to perform physical activities, loading and unloading containers.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
