SalaryU.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Washington, DC location. Under general supervision, this position will manage inventory, tools, and other equipment or supplies. This position will maintain tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe working conditions by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage. The manager will also be responsible for the day-to-day tool crib operations, such as ordering, receiving, pulling, stocking, and issuing tools and supplies.
Duties include:
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean and organized fashion.
- Maintain levels of inventory in the crib
- Review, assess, and order tools based on low inventory levels
- Work with maintenance manager to ensure that specified tools are available for scheduled upcoming work.
- Successfully implement processes and procedures for the warehouse to meet the schedule needs of the customer.
- Work with all levels of management and client to accomplish the projects assigned.
- Provide updates on project statuses to the required team members.
- Staffing and daily supervision of assigned employees.
- Manage vehicles and deliveries.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- 5 plus years’ experience in Facilities Management
- Demonstrated skills and experience in communication.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess a keen sense of attention to detail.
- Microsoft office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word) and overall mid to advanced level computer experience.
- Must be able to operate a computer with the ability to learn new software
- Must have valid Driver’s license.
