We are looking for a Maintenance Technician that is responsible for daily and preventative maintenance to building maintenance and Forklift p.m.'s This position requires direct involvement with daily operations and future projects to assure that these activities support facility goals and objectives on behalf of our customer.
About the position:
- Consistent pay: $32/hour (includes shift differential)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am (Midnight) *Subject to Change*
- Requirements:
- Possesses a strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs.
- Knowledge MHE (material handling equipment) and building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair MHE and Dock equipment.
- Good electronic background, familiar with 3 phase 480V.
- Must have working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems.
- Background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs in MHE and building maintenance.
- Other requirements: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs
- Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
- Basic computer and parts inventory system skills
- Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues
Responsibilities
- Complete all routine lubrications, repairs and trouble shooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment
- Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors
- Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines
- Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems
- Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified
- Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined
