As a future marketing leader in e-commerce for Auto-Parts and Furniture, Yita LLC, has established 9 private warehouses in the United States (Los Angeles, Seattle, New Jersey, Atlanta and Dallas), with totaling more than storage area of 900,000 sqf. Its business ranges from platforms such as Amazon, Ebay, Wayfair, Walmart to self-developed like Yitahome & Yitamotors. By concentrating on demand-driven innovations, Yita is devoted to serve end customers globally by virtue of indicatively-designed products, self-developed brands & systems, and self-built warehouses that fully link worldwide nodes.

Role Summary:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for acting as a coach/leader of warehouse associates. Warehouse lead is responsible to coach and train teammates to fulfill their individual daily tasks in addition to the Lead’s own tasks. The Lead may have various responsibilities based on the specific department, this can include, but is not limited to shipping/receiving, order processing, packaging, inventory control, general warehouse functions or material handling operators (i.e. forklift operators). The lead will provide backup to the supervisor as needed

Responsibilities, but not limited too:

• Maintains a safe and organized operating environment
• Assists supervisor in minimizing downtime and identifying opportunities to increase productivity
• Leads team members in daily assignments and coaches/trains team members as necessary
• Ensures processes and procedures are followed
• Audits completed picked orders making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy of order
• Acts in a professional manner at all times
• Works productively in an individual and team environment
• Maintains proper paperwork for accurate inventory levels
• Ensures that distribution center is clean and prepared for next shift
• Operates forklift to perform certain functions as required (i.e., pull orders, replenish stock, load container, etc.)
• In absence of Supervisor, performs daily startup and assign duties to team members
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor/manager

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Multi-tasking in a fast paced working environment
• The employee must have basic knowledge of English and basic math skills. Bilingual preferred (Mandarin, Spanish, English)
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• WMS system experience is preferred, and the employee must be proficient in use of Yita WMS and PDA scanner within required days
• Must be able to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and able to be certified.

Work Environment:

Must be able to adapt to the work environment as typically indoors and occasionnaly will perform outside work and would be exposed to local weather conditions.

Must be able to adapt to the floors concrete in the warehouse and vinyl or carpet on the interior and cement outside. Moderate noise levels occur in the warehouse with powered industrial truck horns operating for safety.

Physical and Mental Demands:

Lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently. This job also requires frequent standing and walking.

Frequent use of the upper extremities is required to reach, handle, grasp and use tools, equipment, and manipulate product.

The employee must know and follow proper office and safety and security protocols, including first responder duties and emergency procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
