The position consists of two primary roles, Warehouse and Inventory, both of which coincide with each other.
WAREHOUSE
- Cleaning and keeping organized. Making sure the warehouse is swept daily and mopped weekly, making sure the warehouse is never cluttered and all equipment/tools/materials are put away in an efficient and timely manner. Making sure the side parking lot is clear of trash and debris on a daily basis. All trash must be in dumpsters by end of shift. Parking lot must be magnet swept by the end of shift every day.
- Loading/unloading. Every morning you will be responsible for pulling and staging equipment for each job/team that is going out that day. You will be able to see what is going out for that day by checking Service Titan. Once everything is staged and checked for accuracy you will be responsible for taking down the serial numbers per unit per job for inventory record keeping. After that you will load each team in a safe and efficient way to get all teams out.
- General building maintenance. You will be working closely with our building manager to aid in general building maintenance/upkeep.
- Parts running. You will be asked to run parts/materials periodically to install teams in the field.
- Other duties and responsibilities can be add or addressed if need be.
INVENTORY
- Stock. You will be responsible for maintaining manufacturer stock levels by ordering as needed from our vendors.
- Receiving shipments. You will be responsible for unloading vendor shipments and putting away in a timely manner. Also reviewing paperwork for said shipments and confirming nothing is damaged or missing.
- Inventory tracking. You will be responsible for keeping track of all incoming and outgoing equipment by maintaining the Home Comfort USA “INVENTORY EXCEL SHEET.” You will need to update that sheet every day. Update the Production manager every Friday and update Apex every month.
PAY TRANSPARENCY:
The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $20-$22hr the actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.
