Warehouse Lead/Supervisor

Metrie is hiring for a Warehouse Lead in Denver, CO!

As our Warehouse Lead, you will have the opportunity to:

• Thoroughly check all outbound orders picked to ensure correct product profile, species and quantities are accurate.
• Check that all outbound trucks have the proper loads according to schedule.
• Recognize and address all units which are improperly secured (i.e. not enough blocks, edge protectors, cardboard, or plastic) and ensure the package will maintain its structural integrity during transportation.
• Identify “floating bundles” or inventory items which are out of place and return them to the proper location in warehouse.
• Fill out a damage sheet daily for any damages you see and leave it on an admins desk daily. Either cut the product up for layer sticks or throw it away.
• Proactively notify forklift drivers of replenishment needs.
• Assist other warehouse associates as required based during peak periods and when QC workload is caught up.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized facility through diligent “Lean” housekeeping

Who You Are

• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50lbs
• Experience in warehouse environment
• Solid work ethic and a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Basic computer skills, SAP & invoicing experience
• Leadership/Supervisor experience
• Forklift experience a plus
