ABOUT THE ROLE The
Warehouse Lead is responsible for ensuring supplies are accurately distributed to crews in good condition and in a timely manner. This role preps and loads supplies and equipment and maintains the necessary paperwork to record product movement. The
Warehouse Lead will be required to provide direction to junior level warehouse employees. Essential Functions Schedule and coordinate shipments Receive and fill orders Oversee physical inventory and communicate status updates as necessary Monitor and suggest modifications to procedures that may improve efficiency Maintain physical condition of facilities, equipment, and supplies Conduct monthly safety meetings Enforce company policies and procedures and report issues Maintain service records on facilities and equipment Coordinate with project teams to successfully meet the demands of construction projects Assist drivers in the loading and unloading of trucks Verify packing lists and inventory controls Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials as needed Prefabricate various electrical assemblies Supervise and direct the work of junior-level warehouse staff Regular and predictable attendance Other duties as assigned Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable Other duties as assigned ABOUT YOU Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction industry warehouse Minimum 2 years of experience operating basic warehouse equipment such as a forklift High school diploma or GED Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong problem-solving skills and foresight Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate unplanned events Excellent organizational skills Ability to establish and maintain trusting relationships with colleagues and vendors Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as inventory control systems WHAT WE OFFER Compensation & Benefits Salary $38,900-$48,000 / year Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
