The Warehouse Operations Lead will oversee the pulling and packing and staging of orders for the following days installations. Assist installers with correct loading of product. Will oversee the receiving of goods and stocking of goods.
Warehouse Essential Functions
· Meet with delivery drivers and coordinate receiving during receiving hours
· Receive, check and process incoming stock and special orders
· Direct warehouse employees where and how to stock shelves/L-bucks and label ticket
· Loss Prevention: Ensure that shipments in/out are correct
· Oversee pulling and packing of orders from stock; stage pulled orders, handle outgoing paperwork, will match sales order’s with goods received and ensure shipments are correct
· Oversee returned stock is staged or put back in correct location
· Organize and retrieve stock from the warehouse as required
· Assist in preforming regular cycle counts to insure inventory levels
· Perform other duties as requested
Competencies/Skills/Abilities
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Strong organizational skills and effective team player
· Ability to be detail-oriented and multi-task, work within specified timeframes
· Previous Warehouse work is required; previous work experience in our industry is preferred
· Computer literate; basic data entry into computer for inventory control
Supervisory Responsibility
This position may manage warehouse employees, based on volume and season. This is a non-exempt role.
Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse environment, and is thus, subject to extreme temperatures.
