Starting Pay $19/hr
Schedule: Mon - Friday 11am until finish
Position Summary:
Coordinates and assists in the supervision of activities of Halperns’ warehouse functions.
- Collaborates with the supervisor to assist in coordinating the daily activities of Halperns’ warehouse operations.
- Monitors the receiving, selection, and/or loading of warehouse product to ensure the efficient flow of products in the
- Assists in observations for employee reviews, and disciplinary actions. Monitors and prioritizes order fulfillment.
- Assists in investigating variances.
- Provides training for employees on job technique and/or safety requirements.
- Serve in the function of employee or supervisor as appropriate.
- Assists in resolving warehouse issues, problems or conflicts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have verbal communication skills and good organizational and problem solving skills.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
- Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells,
forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse),
mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.
Equipment / Tools / Technology:
- Ability to use a radio frequency handheld computer.
- Ability to operate a PIV.
