ABOUT THE JOB:
Commercial electrical contractor in North Seattle seeks an experienced Warehouse Lead. This role requires interaction with suppliers, transport/delivery companies, crew members, and clients.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Inventory Management
- Shipping & Receiving
- Material handling, including using a pallet jack, operating forklifts, and scissor lifts
- Loading/offloading/safely operating trailers and box trucks up to 26’ / 26,000 GVW
- Forklift/scissor/boom lift certification(s)
- Familiar with light industrial tools, materials & equipment
POSITION DETAILS:
- Full-time position
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Facilitate yearly inventory to assist in budget reports
- Plan work schedules, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc.)
- Fleet Management
EXPECTED JOB TASKS:
- Receive and offload material, inspect/document damage, verify quantities
- Verify correct materials & properly document/resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile material with purchase orders & project tracking
- Correctly label & shelve materials for projects
- Sort & stage materials by job site, area, and material type
- Load trucks with material & supplies for projects
- Coordinate tasks with Project Management & site leads
- Deliver, offload, and stage material at job sites; may include long trips, occasionally requires out-of-town/overnight stays
- Load scrap & recycling material from job sites for removal
- Perform & document routine maintenance of company vehicles
- Sort, stage & load scrap material
- Clean, maintain, and maintain warehouse and parking lots
- Assist in shelf counts, annual inventory, and order materials & supplies
- Other related duties as directed by supervisors
COMPENSATION / HOURS:
- $31 to $35 per hour

- Occasional overtime and overnight trips as required
REQUIREMENTS AND ASPECTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have an insurable driving record and a valid driver's license
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, background checks for military bases, schools, etc., and DOT physical
- Able to safely operate non-CDL commercial trucks to 26’/26,000 GVW
- Warehouse management experience and ability to implement processes
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Ability to regularly lift 50+ lbs.
- Fleet management and dispatching experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
