WORKING Lead
We currently have the following position open.
Warehouse Lead --- Temp to hire
M – F 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
$20 - $23 depending on experienanace (up to $2.00 raise once completion of temporary assignment completed)
Working lead --- will work along side of employees
Forklift experience needed / Crating of chambers
Physically fit and willing and able to assemble crates for shipping chambers
SUMMARY
Leads, coordinates and participates in activities of workers concerned with receiving, storing, inventorying, picking, counting and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
- Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures.
- Issues written and oral instructions.
- Performs order reconciliation for manufacturing, customer, and purchase orders.
- Performs inventory movement transactions and data entry.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Schedules work for special and periodic inventories and cycle counts.
2. Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
3. Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
4. Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
5. Assists in maintaining harmony among workers and resolving grievances.
6. Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.
7. Adjusts errors and complaints.
8. Process rejected material.
9. Ensure that material transfer activities are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
10. Maintain tidiness and cleanliness in the warehouse.
11. Manage safety by maintaining compliance with safety guidelines, reporting discrepancies, and recommending actions to ensure safety in the warehouse.
12. Reconcile RTV parts with the buyers and accounting.
LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads employees in the Stockroom, Shipping and Receiving department. Carries out lead responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assist in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.

- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Five years related warehouse experience and/or training

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
