Garvey's Office Products, a subsidiary of Office Depot, Inc. is looking for an energetic, friendly Warehouse Driver Lead to join our team!
The Warehouse Driver Lead is responsible for delivering customer orders in a productive, time-sensitive, and customer-sensitive manner when needed. When driving is not needed the lead will be responsible for general warehouse and light vehicle and equipment maintenance ie changing out headlights.
Company Vehicle Provided! No CDL Required! Paid Training! Commercial Driving, Clean Driving, or Previous Delivery Experiences Preferred.
Hours: M-F 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:
- Deliver customer orders in a productive, time-sensitive and customer-sensitive manner when needed.
- Demonstrate safety, quality, and operational expertise.
- Load, unload, and secure product; to ensure customers receive clean and damage free merchandise.
- Deliver product to customer locations, meeting established delivery goals.
- Collect and track customer returns within a specified time frame.
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and lawful manner.
- Responsible for the vehicle and its contents.
- Complete daily route and all appropriate paperwork.
- Communicate obstacles that prohibit us from meeting our established goals.
- Complete daily pre and post trip checklist.
- Actively seek to support implementation of and contribute ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement to the delivery processes.
- Communicate customer feedback to sales and/or supervisory personnel.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement utilizing LEAN practices.
- Communicate any issues with the products, damages, and/or misplaced items.
- Address warehouse questions via email from internal team members.
- Assemble furniture including desks, chairs, etc.
- Schedule truck washes.
- Schedule and speak with mechanic shops.
- Schedule general wear and tear, brakes, tires, oil changes.
- Schedule other repairs as needed.
- Drive and pick up trucks to/from maintenance facilities.
