We are currently looking for an equally unique individual to oversee the warehousing division of our firm. The role requires a dynamic personality with strong leadership skills. Someone who values self-improvement, stives off accountability / transparency and doesn’t back down from challenges. We are fast growing company, and this division has had issues keeping up. We are looking for a fixer, someone who has experience turning around a culture and implementing systems and protocols. We are extremely client centric and hold ourselves to very high standards, and we want a like-minded individual to join our leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the implementation of all warehouse operations, including logistics, scheduling systems, delivery, and transportation, loading dock activity, food storage and security, warehouse temperature control, pest control, emergency action plans, and closing procedures.
- Develops and drives culture of accountability through daily assessments and operational evaluation.
- Cultivates a high performance, result-oriented culture by maintaining positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee daily operations, inventory control, and inbound / outbound logistics for one 225,000 sf facility in Kearny, NJ and one 50,000 sf facility in Moorestown, NJ.
- Serves as a member of the Leadership team and as such is responsible for providing leadership in decision-making and vision building for the company.
- Develops and manages the safety and sanitation programs.
- Ensures equipment and facilities are operational while identifying opportunities for improvement to reduce waste and manage repair needs.
- Will be responsible for 15-20 employees.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with EOS Model
- High Energy Personality … People describe you as a go getter.
- Strong leadership style … you demand a lot from your staff but in turn care for them just as much.
- Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience.
- Experience managing at least a 150,000 square foot facility.
- Experience with minimum of 1,000 sku’s in a warehouse.
- Experience as super user or admin in digital inventory system.
