Warehouse Delivery Driver

Auto Tire and Parts NAPA/Cape Warehouse is seeking an organized, enthusiastic and hard working Route Delivery Driver to join our growing team in our Cape Girardeau, MO location. As a Route Driver to our retail store locations your primary focus is on getting the right parts to the right people at the right time. The ideal Route Driver will have a passion for delivering customer care on an everyday basis, have strong communication skills and have excellent driving aptitude.

Responsibilities for the Route Driver will include:

• 6-8 hours of Interstate/Highway driving
• Driving throughout the Auto Tire and Parts NAPA area using maps and directions
• Ensuring scheduled pick-ups and deliveries are completed as intended
• Maintaining a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made
• Inspecting, protecting and maintaining company assets including merchandise and vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Stamina to drive the entire work shift and load/unload delivery vehicle
• Strength to lift 50 lbs of merchandise independently
• Strong communication skills and attentive listening skills
• Ability to operate a vehicle safely in all types of driving and weather conditions Valid driver's license with clean record and Class E certification
• A D.O.T physical will be required
• Minimum 19 years of age
• Pre-Employment drug screen and background check
