Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for performing duties of receiving and warehousing the inbound inventory and coordinating outbound deliveries of furnishings to customers.

Essential Job Functions
- Receive inbound shipments of items and confirm the bill of lading of inbound shipment for inventory accuracy.
- Unload inbound trucks and organize merchandise in warehouse area.
- Inspect incoming goods received for accuracy of shipment along with inspect for possible damage; submit damaged goods notification to Office Manager for claims.
- Catalog and manage all inventory stored.
- Sign for goods received, secure packing slips and notify sales representative of incoming orders when received.
- Make local deliveries of small items to customer homes as required.
- Perform light building maintenance activities as required such as minor repairs, hanging art, etc. using basic hand tools such as hammer and screw gun.

Education High School Education
Certifications/Licenses Valid driver’s license
Experience Previous warehouse experience; retail warehouse experience preferred; carpentry experience
