Location: Irvine, CA
Contract
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (6am-5pm at the end of each month and all throughout the month of March) (Occasional weekends)
The anticipated wage for this position is between $18.00 and $20.00/hr. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
The Warehouse Clerk facilitates timely and accurate shipment information to the Warehouse Manager, Supervisor and/or Leads using SAP Analytics Cloud. Responsible for keeping file records on all receipts of goods and products for warehousing or delivery to other departments within the company and external customers. Coordinate and execute in SAP inventory movements between Repair, Config, and other departments. Transact all inventory movements as required and create reports using excel and download information from SAP and prepare inventory cycle count reports for inventory counts. Assist printing all inventory tags for mid-term and term-end physical inventory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
• Prepare daily shipping schedule for the Warehouse Leads.
• Prepare all cycle count sheets. Keep track of and investigates all discrepancies, and report findings to the Warehouse Manager.
• Proactively pull and audit material and issues related to internal customers and transact in SAP. Identify, track, and resolve inventory discrepancies between Repair, Config, and other internal customers.
• Maintain records of all transactions between internal customers and warehouse.
• Monitor sales order requirements and convey important information to the Warehouse Leads to ensure shipments are complete and correct.
• Process materials received; check, verify and put away.
• Check receipts for proper quantities and item numbers. Reject damaged goods and refer problems per procedure.
• Enter receiving information into the computer and forward necessary information to area personnel.
• Restock shelves as needed.
• Process receiving activities related to warranty repair RMA's, Customer Owned Equipment, and Mfg./Repair/Rework suppliers
• Maintain daily warehouse shipping metrics.
• Review, audit and sign off all freight invoices - report any discrepancies to Warehouse Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• High school or equivalent experience and education
• Minimum 4 years of experience in general warehouse, with knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and standards; Previous experience with Federal Express and UPS
• Forklift certified
• 2 years minimum experience with SAP
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
• Broad knowledge and experience in warehouse practices, inventory management, and logistics functions.
• Strong computer skills including usage of MS Office Suite and SAP; must learn and use related Ops applications and systems.
• Successfully complete work both independently and as an effective member of the team, adapting to changing requirements, deadlines and priorities as needed.
• Ability to work productively with internal stakeholders, to build positive relationships, and to effectively push-back as needed.
• Able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, highly organized with efficient record-keeping.
• Knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements helpful.
• Communicate clearly and professionally through effective listening, speaking, and writing skills. Articulate; Neat/legible handwriting.
