Warehouse Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

· Unloading / Accepting delivery vehicles for inbound packaging materials.

· Signing for inbound shipments upon receipt and verifying that the correct merchandise / qty has been received.

· Thoroughly inspect merchandise for any damage and discrepancies and report to management.

· Using forklifts, standing forklift, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange stock accordingly.

· Strategically storing merchandise to maximize storage space within the warehouse.

· Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards, which includes picking, count and delivery packaging needs for production orders or requests to multiple production lines.

· Take packaging back from production areas to properly store back.

· Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.

· Counting and confirming inventory, during physical inventories, cycle counts and annual physical counts.

· Input data regarding stock and inventory into the ERP system

· Keep paperwork up to date.

Requirements:

· High school diploma.

· A valid forklift license. The ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment.

· Good numeracy and IT skills

· Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items

· 5 + years of Proven experience in a food warehouse environment.

· Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as warehouse management software. Excel skills is a plus.

· The ability to lift and move heavy objects.

· The ability to stand for extended periods.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Team player, that could also work independently with or without supervision.

· Maintain and achieve OSHA safety standards.

· Effective communication skills.

· Detail-oriented.

· Bilingual preferred
