Wild Mike’s Ultimate Pizza is looking for an experienced Warehouse Clerk to join the Team! We are the 19th largest independent frozen food manufacturer in the US located in Clackamas, OR, and we are experiencing exponential growth!

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of the warehouse by ensuring shipping and receiving paperwork are processed accurately, and in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

A. Prepare all paperwork for outbound shipments (pick ticket, packing slip, BOL, ASN, etc.).

B. Understand customer specific requirements and ensure loads adhere to those requirements (pallet quality, shrink wrap requirements, temp tracker requirements, etc.).

C. Perform all receiving functions while adhering to quality guidelines, including checking drivers in/out, reviewing received quantities against purchase order, and inspecting shipments for damaged goods.

D. Maintain shipping and receiving schedules and ensure paperwork is processed in a timely manner for efficient loading/unloading of trucks.

E. Coordinate with Logistics and Warehouse for inter-company transfers.

F. Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.

G. Act as a backup for warehouse operations (forklift certification and ability to operation standard warehouse equipment)

H. Strong computer skills and attention to detail

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITES

A. One or more years’ experience in warehouse operations, inventory control or logistics.

B. High School diploma or GED required

C. Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety rules.

D. Preferred experience with warehousing systems such as: Microsoft D365, Bartender systems, Misys, ADP, etc.

E. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

F. Must be able to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks and scissor lifts) and able to be certified by S.A. Piazza & Associates, Inc.

G. Must be able to meet requirements to be a powered industrial truck trainer and be able to certify employees.

H. Strong communication skills.

I. Must possess excellent decision making and troubleshooting skills.

J. Ability to work in a team environment

K. Self-motivated individual with demonstrated initiative to improve processes.

L. Experience with USDA/GMP/SQF/HACCP compliance s preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

A. Standing/Walking: Frequently - Most assignments and work functions require the use of legs and feet to walk throughout the building and climb stairs.

B. Sitting: Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day)

C. Crouching (bending at knees): Occasionally – Crouching is necessary when lifting materials.

D. Reaching: Continually – All positions require continual handling of small parts and various materials. Reaching is primarily performed between waist and shoulder level. Some overhead reaching is required.

E. Stooping (bend at waist): Rarely

F. Kneeling: Rarely – Kneels to retrieve materials from the floor.

G. Handling: Continually – Handles small components

H. Feeling/Grasping: To manipulate computer, handles various paperwork, files, etc. Grasps writing instruments, using the computer, gripping/steering powered industrial trucks

I. Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally – A typical weight range is 10-50 pounds. Stacks of boxes and bins may weigh as much as 50 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL HAZARDS

A. Works in warehouse environment with regular exposure to noise, heat and cold, cleaning agents including bleach

B. Works in warehouse environment with exposure to Power Industrial Trucks.

C. The office environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal office safety precautions.

D. Adhere to company safety policies and GMP/SQF requirements, wearing the required personal protective equipment.

E. Extensive word processing and data entry work on computers will be involved.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
