As a Warehouse Clerk, you will partner with your team to take ownership of dynamic warehouse functions and play a vital role in our mission to bring broadband services to rural America.
Summary:
Position is challenged with the daily inventory management of all tools, parts and materials pertaining to the install, repair and construction activities within the region. Commitments include inventory control, shipping, handling, receiving, and delivery of materials, as well as inventory database management for the region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
- Operates shipping, receiving and stocking of all inventory materials needed for the ongoing operation of company.
- Oversees testing of reclaimed customer equipment.
- Maintains accurate records and database of inventory materials received, warehoused and dispersed.
- Notifies warehouse coordinator when stock minimums are reached.
- Projects advance inventory requirements in conjunction with technical operations manager.
- Maintains sufficient inventory levels to meet demand while maintaining efficient inventory levels and highest possible inventory turns.
- Disperses tools and equipment to broadband technicians and maintains employee receipt records.
- Performs quarterly and annual counts of inventory items.
- Delivers materials to other Warehouse centers.
- Maintains open and professional communication with all staff, including management, independent contractors, technical staff and office personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
High School diploma or GED. Two to three years of direct warehouse or broadband industry experience materials management required. Individual with forklift and/or tow-motor experience is preferred.
Computer Skills
Excel, Word, and other MS Office software experience required. Experience with QuickBooks or other inventory database management software programs preferred. Ability to use Internet and E-mail required.

- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the insurance carrier
- Required to use hands to type, handle objects and paperwork
- Required to raise his/her arms overhead to work, reach, and carry
- Required to use close vision and be able to focus and see colors
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Frequently required to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs and ladders up to 75 lbs
- Frequently required to sit, stand, bend at the knees and waist and walk
- Occasionally required to climb a ladder
- Occasionally required to drive a forklift and/or operate a tow-motor
- The employee generally works in warehouse and indoor office environments but occasionally works out of doors, in all types of weather and on uneven terrain
- Overtime may be required
