Warehouse Clerk - $14.00/hour
Callville Bay, located within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area and managed by Guest Services, is now hiring a Warehouse Clerk for the 2024 Season! The season starts on March 1st and goes through August 2024.
RV spaces will be available but very limited.
This position pays $14.00/hour.

JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Clerk/Town Runner is responsible for receiving, logging, storing and disbursing all incoming inventory, keeping the warehouse clean and organized at all times, and driving to Las Vegas to pick up and return with required supplies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Clean and organize the warehouse daily as needed.
- Log incoming merchandise into receiving book daily.
- Unpack boxes and inspect incoming merchandise for order accuracy and damaged goods.
- Distribute retail merchandise to the proper departments.
- Stock excess merchandise in an orderly fashion for future distribution.
- Check invoices for merchandise received and record verification.
- Check inventory on hand and keep accurate records on all items placed in warehouse.
- Rotate and restock merchandise in store room as necessary on a daily basis, moving large and small merchandise and boxes from one spot to another.
- Drive a company vehicle into town to pick up and/or deliver supplies, as needed.
- Safely lift and move merchandise and boxes in the warehouse and to department locations
- Drive/operate a shuttle van and/or golf cart outdoors, when needed to transport customers.
- Coordinate with Purchasing Manager on the list of items to be picked-up and returned to the resort.
- Drive from resort to town, locate the appropriate supplier, load supplies into resort vehicle and return to the resort.
- Distribute supplies to appropriate departments.
- Perform work in a manner protective of human health and the environment and promptly report any deviations of environmental policy to their supervisor.
- Keep town vehicle clean
- Report any maintenance requirements on vehicle to auto mechanic
- Such other and further duties as are required from time to time, as defined by Company Management.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma, GED, or other acceptable experience.
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
- Good organizational, interpersonal, customer service and time-management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team and to work with employees and vendors at all levels.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with employees at all levels and external contacts.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning supplies and proper cleaning techniques.
- Ability to keep and maintain organized records and filing systems.
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques.
- Honest and trustworthy.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Climb stairs and walk/move on a variety of surfaces including tiled, carpeted, concrete, unpaved, uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces.
- Balance/stabilize, stand/remain upright and walk on uneven and moving surfaces (marina docks and boats on water).
- Walk/move around within buildings and property.
- Stand/remain upright, walk frequently during entire shift up to 4 hours at a time.
- Drive/operate a shuttle van and/or golf cart outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including extreme heat, cold and stormy conditions to move from building to building on property, when needed.
