SalaryUnder general supervision, prepare customer invoices and packlists from sales orders. Verifies quantities for shipment or pickup and inputs data into system. Arrange for shipments with freight carriers for shipment of customer’s orders. Prepares bills of lading. Must have good communication skills in English, both oral and written. 1 year billing experience utilizing a MRP/ERP system in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Must be proficient on a computer. Must possess good math skills. Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize tasks. Must possess the ability to handle fast paced environment with a high degree of accuracy. Must be proficient in Excel. Prepare invoices from sales orders ready to ship. Call customers for pickups. Select best way carrier for each order. Contact shippers for timely pickup of goods. Process shipping documents as required, both domestic and international. Reprinting of partially filled sales orders. Calculate all shipping charges for ground, air, truck, both domestic and international.Process freight claims with carriers. Review customer orders for accuracy and notify sales of any discrepancies. Provide Material certifications to customers as needed. Request freight quotes as needed. Tracking of shipped orders or obtain proof of deliveries as requested. Process outside service purchase orders. Issue materials to work orders from material requisitions and pick lists.
