Warehouse Associate - Steel

MidWest Materials is looking for Warehouse Associates. Our associates will have experience with Overhead Cranes that work with weights ranging from 7 Tons to 40 Tons. Previous Steel warehouse experience is a plus. Our associates will be trained in areas of Packaging, Shearing and Overhead Crane Operations. If that is you, and you are looking for a change - we are currently looking for Warehouse Associates! The Warehouse Associates positions are part of the Production Team. This is a full-time, hourly position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):

• Using Overhead Cranes to transfer Coil Form or Sheet form Steel.
• Loads and unloads materials from trucks or production areas,
• Interact with truck drivers to direct or assist them in loading or unloading process.
• Separate out non-conforming metals.
• Handling steel bundles of scrap for recycling.
• Fast Paced Environment
• Performs other general laborer tasks as required.
• Performs cleaning duties related to plant equipment and general housekeeping.

The positions require the candidate to have good math and measuring skills, the ability to do visual inspection of their parts, and a strong desire to learn. We will train the rest. Good attendance and good work ethic required.

1st SHIFT - Monday to Friday
Regular Hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm (8 Hours)

Currently working 6:00am to 4:30pm (10 hours)'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
