Responsibilities:
Work with other members of a line or group to assemble products. Our products cover a variety of storage racking systems including selective pallet racking system, Cantilever Racking, Boltless Shelving, Drive-in Racking, Push Back Racking, Carton Flow Racking. Mezzanine etc.
- Assemble parts for the uprights and racking system
- Using hand-tools: Obtains specified parts or sub-assemblies. Aligns holes, inserts screws
or bolts, and tightens them, using power screwdriver, to assemble preformed panels and
support brackets to base.
- Aligns brackets, racks, and moving parts before tightening to achieve appearance, fit,
and movement specified.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated locations
- Pick and pack orders for shipment
- Operate power tools and hand tools to fabricate and assemble products
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles and ability to use power tools
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Note: The Assembler is responsible for fabricating and assembling parts, subassemblies, and products using an array of tools and equipment following assembly instructions and/or drawing specifications.
