Job Description
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to become a valuable addition to our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling a variety of tasks ranging from receiving goods to managing inventory. Your contribution will directly impact our efficiency and ability to serve our customers effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring all items are accounted for and stored properly.
- Order Fulfillment: Diligently pick and fill orders according to company standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Shipping and Receiving: Prepare, pack, and ship orders with care, ensuring products are securely dispatched to their destinations. Additionally, assist in unloading shipments and verifying their contents against order forms.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized warehouse environment, categorizing and storing items in designated areas for easy retrieval.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Uphold a clean and safe warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery, including pallet jackets, hand trucks, cardboard balers, and reach trucks, contributing to efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: A High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Preferably 3-4 years of experience in a warehouse setting, demonstrating familiarity with warehouse operations and best practices.
- Certifications: Must be certified to operate a reach truck.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects, up to 100 pounds, as part of daily tasks.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
- Teamwork: A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
