Warehouse Associate And Part Time Delivery

Role and Responsibilities:

Warehouse Associate and part –Time Delivery driver.

VALID DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED!

This position is a hands-on position that requires you to work in the warehouse loading/unloading trucks and some delivery / unloading of product. This is not just a driving position!

Experience in driving commercial vehicles. “Box Truck” preferred. Must have experience in warehouse loading and unloading trucks, working with materials and inventory.

• Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assist in pre-staging jobs.
• Helps maintain a clean warehouse and keeps it in order.
• Helps with inventory.
• Assist with customers.
• Load and unload trucks; deliver products. Glazing doors (cutting doors to install glass and springs)
• Forklift certification a plus but not mandatory.
• Medical certification is mandatory for delivery in compliance with state laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic math skills including the ability to measure and use cutting tools.
• Basic reading -English
• Go getter, must be able to work with customers and teammates.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.

• Stable work history
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, move quickly, load trucks and be able to comprehend stacking and safe loading of many types of vehicles. This is a physical job in a warehouse environment. Must be able to lift up to 25-50 lbs and up to 70 lbs occasionally. There will be exposure to the heat and cold as the seasons change.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
