Position Overview:

Our Warehouse department is seeking to hire Warehouse Associates to join our team. As an essential part of the APS business, our warehouse team is staying busy to meet the growing demands of our customer needs. We are looking for hard-working team members to help maintain our day-to-day operations.

We are looking for Warehouse Associates who are enthusiastic, and ambitious team players. Qualified candidates who are motivated self-starters with good judgment and communication skills, a commitment to excellence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect product, quantities, and accuracy for deliveries.
• Ensure accuracy of quantities pulled and stocked locations.
• Ensure product is safely stored to prevent internal damage and properly located for order pulls, physical counts, and inventory control.
• Pull customer orders and ascertain accuracy that product pulled is aligned with customer specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures.
• Enforce warehouse rules, keeping warehouse clean, organized and safe.

Qualifications:

• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Willing and able to operate material handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time, without stress or strain.
• Flexibility with schedule to ensure daily warehouse duties are completed before end of shift.
• Must have reliable daily transportation to branch location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Operates forklift as needed, we provide internal training for all warehouse employees.
• Product knowledge of plumbing material highly desired.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, written and verbally.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift truck required.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
• Ability to communicate clearly, written and verbally.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
• Operates forklift truck as needed.
• Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at times.
• Ability to move around the warehouse, including climbing ladders.
• Proper attire for non climate controlled Warehouse including proper footwear.
• This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to lift 50-75 pounds. While mainly standard hours are scheduled for this position, 7AM-5PM, Mon-Fri. Flexibility at times is required to be able to ensure all orders and job duties are completed by end of shift. Saturday rotation of staff is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $850.00 - $1,100.00 per week
