Midwest Distribution is a snack food distributor located in Lee’s Summit, MO. We are a growing company adding a new position to our team. A typical work-week is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

The Role

The Warehouse Associate will be familiar and experienced in warehousing, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving and must be able to work quickly and accurately under strict time constraints while maintaining a positive attitude. Our warehouse is climate controlled.

What We Expect

· Unloading and stocking of inbound shipments

· Maintain a clean, organized floor and warehouse area.

· Picking and shipping outbound orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness

· Assist with inventory management

· Assist with general maintenance and facilities related projects as needed

What We Are Looking For

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Prefer 1 year previous experience in a warehouse, order fulfilment or shipping / receiving environment.

· Ability to read and interpret instructions.

· Must be able to sort stock according to item number and accurately pull orders for shipment.

· Ability to lift 25-50 pounds on a regular basis along with the ability to work on your feet for the majority of the day. Must be able to squat, bend and kneel in order to load and unload boxes.
