Job Description

Responsibilities may include physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights by hand. This includes lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, and placing items in corresponding areas with continuous physical bending, twisting, and kneeling in a safe and efficient manner. Other responsibilities include accurately entering, identifying, and correcting data within various software programs as well as scanning paperwork, saving electronic files, filing hard copies and occasional dispatch support. Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory controls.
• Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs.
• Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods.
• Scan paperwork, save electronic files, organize records, file hard copies, etc.
• Direct the activities of the dispatch area when needed, taking on-the-spot actions to prevent and/or correct problems.
• Assist with shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking-in products or materials.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling orders, packing and transporting packages to the shipping area.
• Make deliveries to our other warehouse locations.
• Sort and put away warehouse items, as directed by organizational standards.
• Coordinated transfers of products between several facilities.
• Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning surfaces, creating a clean and safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately within various software programs (Required)
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly.
• Ability to contribute positively as a team member.
• Ability to think analytically.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Reliable Transportation
• Forklift experience (preferred)
• Ability to lift 60 or more pounds continuously.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb.
• Good follow-up skills and high attention to detail a must.
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Dependable, self-starter, able to work independently when needed.
• Valid driver's license (required)

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Must work on site. This is not a remote position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
