Position overview The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing administrative and physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Strong attention to detail, communication, adaptability, and a willingness to work in a collaborative team environment are skills that will support a high level of success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Complete ERP System Transactions using computer or handheld scanner.
Maintain communication with team and internal customers via Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
Read customer orders accurately to identify part number, quantity ordered, and location.
Locate and select specific inventory items to fulfill orders.
Visually inspect orders to ensure accuracy prior to shipping.
Responsible for loading and off-loading of trucks.
Maintain proper inventory control and housekeeping in the warehouse areas.
Follow procedures to safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Performs other tasks as assigned.
Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ work experience and/or training or equivalent post-secondary education degree
Forklift certification required
Self-motivated individual with strong work ethic
Organized and motivated team player
Problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel
Good verbal and written communication skills
Previous warehouse/inventory control experience preferred but not required
Demonstrated ability to count accurately
Previous experience operating a computer and communicating via email and text
Prior handheld barcode scanner experience preferred
Ability to perform mathematical calculations
Excellent interpersonal communication skills: ability to work across a variety of departments
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and instructions
Previous experience with a RF Scanner preferred

This position will be subject to mostly controlled but potential varying internal environmental conditions, including changes in temperature and noise that are within acceptable safety levels common to a warehouse environment.
Work may involve long-term standing, sitting and frequent walking throughout areas such as warehouse, assembly or machine shop as well as navigating common hazards related to these areas.
Must have visual acuity for viewing a computer screen, the ability to talk, and hear.
Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Must have the ability to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk.
Weekend and overtime work may be required.
Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
