BASIC FUNCTION
Assist with all the receiving of raw materials and components for manufacturing and to deliver them to the production areas or storage areas in a timely organized manner. Also, maintain finished goods area in an organized, sanitary manner and prepare goods for shipment.
Monday - Friday, 7:30a - 4p, $18-22/hr. DOE
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain and organize warehouse.
2. Work under supervision of the Warehouse Manager and perform duties as directed.
3. Receive and inventory all raw materials/components for production.
4. Maintain good safety practices.
5. Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes
comply with regulations, or standards.
6. Handle a quality product efficiently without errors.
7. Maintain Good Housekeeping Practices.
8. Remove finish goods from the production area and prepare for shipping.
9. Get along with fellow coworkers and build a team environment.
DUTIES AND TASKS
• Sweep and properly clean warehouse floors.
• Properly drive and lift products using the forklift.
• Transferring of components between building utilizing straight truck.
• Loading and unloading trailers and/or trucks utilizing forklift or pallet jack.
• Palletize products using a manual shrink wrap tool.
• Properly complete UPS orders using the UPS shipping system.
• Perform duties in all buildings.
• Adequately complete daily shipping records.
• Receive and inventory all raw materials/components for production.
• Remove finished goods from production areas and prepare for shipping.
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate
discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling
equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
REQUIREMENTS
A. EDUCATION
Required: High school education and/or GED
Preferred: Some secondary education in related field.
B. LICENSING/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION
Required: Current Driver's License with clean driving history. Forklift Certification. Ability to
operate straight truck. Company will train and certify qualified individuals
prior to operating any industrial powered equipment.
Preferred: Prior knowledge/experience of operating powered industrial equipment.
C. EXPERIENCE
Required: 1-year experience in a pharmaceutical/food manufacturing environment and/or
warehouse environment.
Preferred: Experience with current good manufacturing practices, OSHA safety standards,
and HAZMAT procedures. Operating straight truck with manual transmission.
