Job Description
- Oversee projects, maintain, test and calibrate a variety of electrical systems components and equipment.
- Repair and modify new fixtures, wiring, circuits and motors.
- Overseeing projects, maintaining, testing and calibrating variety electrical systems, components and equipment
- Carry out timely preventive maintenance actions, detailed inspections on switchgear, circuit panels, cable and forklift.
- Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA standards and building codes in installation of systems, operation of equipment and handling of materials.
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
- Sort shipments before loading and unloading.
- Attach identifying tags to containers/shelves or mark them with identifying information.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Stack shipments in designated locations using pallets or cargo boards.
- Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in warehouse or retail environment preferred
- Electrician knowledge preferred
- Physically Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
