Global Helium is seeking a Warehouse Administrator to join our team located in East Chicago, IN. Global Helium Rare Gases Division refines and distributes gaseous Xenon, Krypton and Neon globally for use in a variety of applications including semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, lighting, medical and research.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Administrator is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Committed to personal safety and environmental accountability
- Perform duties as trained under minimal supervision while operating within and in support of Quality Management System
- Safe shipping and handling of hazardous materials (Krypton, Xenon and Neon)
- Customer facing role; always exhibit professional customer-focused behaviors
- Direct customer technical inquiries to accountable team member
- Complete required documentation and packaging of domestic and international shipments, in compliance with DOT/IATA/IMDG regulations
- Complete receiving of industrial gas cylinders and associated paperwork
- Data entry for multiple business functions including training records and supply chain invoicing
- Manage office supplies inventory to support all office functions
- Computer and software use such as email, spreadsheets, data entry
- Maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices
- Participates in and successfully completes training programs and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policy
- Reviews and follows procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements
- Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
Qualifications - External
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic computer skills; Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, Data entry, etc
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical (up to and including drug & alcohol test)
- Able to operate material handling equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
- Ability to Travel (less than 10%)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit or to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must occasionally move industrial gas cylinders up to 200 pounds, with assistance of materials handling equipment. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
